AC Milan prepare offer for Barcelona's Motta

AC Milan will bid for Barcelona midfielder Thiago Motta in the coming days.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Milan president Silvio Berlusconi confirmed their plans in a luncheon with sponsors this week.

Motta has been put up for sale by Barca and carries a price-tag of around £4.5 million. The Brazilian midfielder carries an Italian passport.
