Dodo’s ban lifted

SAO PAOLO: Brazilian club Botafogo’s star striker Dodo yesterday had his four-month suspension for doping quashed on appeal.

The player was suspended last week after tests showed that a health product the player was taking contained a banned substance.

But Brazil’s highest sports tribunal quashed the ban after a 5-3 split ruling on appeal.
