Manchester City have announced the signing of Brazilian midfielder Elano, their third signing in a matter of hours.
The 26-year-old has penned a four-year deal at Eastlands after City agreed terms with his previous club Shakhtar Donetsk.
City have confirmed the deal for Elano is worth £8million and takes their spending to nearly £20million in 24 hours following the arrivals of Javi Garrido and Vedran Corluka.
