Napoli bid for Sao Paulo star Josue

Napoli have tabled a bid for Sao Paulo midfielder Josue.

The Brazil international lifted the Copa America last month and is also attracting interest from Spain's Real Murcia and Russian clubs.

Sao Paulo coach Muricy Ramalho admitted last night they could not compete with Napoli's contract offer to Josue, but was adamant that "he won't leave us until the end of the championship [in December]".
